On May 20 an open day will be organized regarding blind spot detection and signaling systems.

Connekt would like to share the first results of the research regarding blind spot detection and signaling systems (DDSS) , more specific the detection and identification criteria which must be met in order to have an impact on road safety.

The suppliers will demonstrate their products. The specific program for DDSS starts at 10 hours.

Afterwards (12.00 hours) a network lunch meting is organized. Guest speaker is Michele Blom, Director of Roads and Traffic Directorate General Mobility (DGMO), and also Deputy Director-General Mobility of the Ministry of Transport.

The program Sustainable Logistics of Connekt will present 20 Lean & Green Award 2010 to the CEOs of shipping and logistics service providers who want to commit to the objective of the program: 20% CO ₂ reduction by the end of 2012. Peter Janssen, director of the RAI Association will discuss the importance of sustainable logistics.
