 On May 20 Connekt has presented the first results of the investigation into Blind Spot Detection and Signaling Systems (DDSS) : what criteria are related to in increase to road safety?

4 Trucks with detection systems gave demonstrations of various systems.

Guest speaker Michele Blom, Manager Roads and Traffic Directorate General Mobility (DGMO), and Deputy Director-General Mobility of the Ministry of Transport was referring to her personal recent experience with the blind spot in her speech. Peter Janssen, director of the RAI Association discussed the importance of safety and sustainability, and the industry's commitment to improving both aspects.

The program Sustainable Logistics Connekt awarded the first Lean & Green Award 2010 to the CEOs of transporters and logistics service providers who commit to the objective of the program: 20% CO ₂ reduction by the end of 2012.

More than 300 visitors attended the event .
